Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Playdate website and app, operated by Now Playdate, Inc. (“Playdate”, “we”). By creating an account you agree to them.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a parent, guardian, or caregiver to create an account. One account per person. You are responsible for everything done through your account.

Verification

Playdate may require phone confirmation and offers identity verification through a third-party provider. Verification badges indicate that a check was completed — they are not a guarantee of any person's character, conduct, or fitness to supervise children.

Community standards

  • Be honest about who you are and who is in your household.
  • No harassment, hate, threats, or targeted abuse.
  • No sexual content, and no content that endangers or exploits children.
  • No scraping, spam, resale of access, or commercial solicitation outside our partner programs.
  • Do not share another family's photos or details without permission.

Your responsibility offline

Playdate helps you meet other families. It does not supervise meetings and is not responsible for the conduct of any user. Use your judgment, meet in public first, and stay with your child until you know a family well.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. You grant us a limited license to host and display it so the service works. You can delete your content and account at any time.

Suspension

We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these Terms or create a safety risk, with or without notice where the risk is urgent.

Disclaimers and liability

Playdate is provided “as is”. AI guidance is informational and is not medical, legal, or psychological advice — always consult a qualified professional. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding twelve months.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
